About 4-H

In Georgia, there are more than 180,000 young people learning and having fun through?'s?Youth Development Program, 4-H. The?Georgia 4-H Program?receives support from the?, the?, local and county governments, and donors.

4-H members gain self-confidence by learning good communication and public speaking skills at?. They make new friends by attending conferences, camps, and reward trips. 4-H also teaches members wise leadership and decision-making skills through Leader's Training and judging events.

The 4-H pledge

The Pike County Program

Pike County visits?Cloverleaf 4-H'ers?(4th -6th graders) in the Pike County school system. Students learn about?,?,?,? , and more.

During the school year, Junior 4-H'ers?(7th and 8th graders) and Senior 4-H'ers?(9th-12th graders) meet monthly after school. The?4-H bus?provides transportation from school to the 4-H office for after-school meetings.

The Pike County?Homeschool Club holds monthly meetings during the school year.

In June and July, Pike County 4-H'ers can attend one of the exciting 4-H summer camps that make up the .
