Making A Difference in Our County

Gwinnett County had a large expansion in the partnership with Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners focused on community educational outreach and engagement to underserved groups. The county received an increase in their county budget to hire additional staff focused on providing programs in Spanish for the area of Agricultural and Natural Resources and Korean in the area of Family and Consumer Sciences. With this expansion, staff are able to offer more education and resources opportunities in the community. In addition to the multilingual staff hires, additional part time staff positions were added to expand programs offered in the Gwinnett County Public School systems in 4-H, Family and Consumer Sciences and Agricultural and Natural Resources.
