4-H Day at the Capitol

Georgia 4-H Day at the Capitol is? annual event that offers 4-H members a hands-on experience with the state legislative process that is held during the general assembly session. Participants have the opportunity to meet their elected officials, observe leadership in action, and deepen their understanding of civic affairs. The event also recognizes 4-H members who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in leadership and civic engagement during a special luncheon. This initiative is supported by a partnership with organizations including Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation and the Georgia 4-H Foundation, emphasizing the Georgia 4-H commitment to fostering civic involvement among youth.

Georgia 4-H Ambassadors

The Georgia 4-H Ambassador Program offers opportunities for students to learn and lead in key areas of 4-H programming. Ambassadors are selected for a specific track through an application process and participate in a dynamic and intensive training weekend. These individuals subsequently plan individual activities to increase and share their knowledge and represent Georgia 4-H as ambassadors in the field.

State 4-H Council

State 4-H Council, a Georgia 4-H core program, is the constitutional meeting of the Georgia 4-H Council and includes the election of Georgia 4-H state officers. Registration for State 4-H Council is open to any current 8th-12th grade 4-H members. This annual meeting hosts multiple events, competitions, and training throughout the weekend for youth and adults.
